Language Education for New Residents

Randers Language Center (Sprogcenter Randers) is a school where you can learn to speak, write, and read Danish.

The people that come to Randers Language Center are refugees and immigrants who plan to stay in Denmark. There are also people who use the facilities on a shorter basis, i.e. people who are here for work or education purposes.

The school is for adults who cannot speak or understand the Danish language well enough for everyday life, work, or education purposes in Denmark.

Randers Municipality will pay for your lessons and the needed books at Randers Language Center. However, you will have to buy your own paper, pencils, and notebooks.

How long you will attend the school depends on what you will do after leaving and what is realistic for you. It is normal to attend the school for two to three years, but this varies from student to student.

The school recommends that you take an oral and written exam before leaving.

You are welcome to visit the school.
